Julien Yarker joins Stanford Graduate School of Business as Associate Dean for Executive Education, bringing 20 years of experience in Higher Education and Executive Education. Before joining Stanford, Julien spent five years at Columbia Business School, where he most recently served as senior associate dean. In that role, he led the school’s executive education portfolio, encompassing open-enrollment, online, and custom programs.

Prior to Columbia, Julien held leadership roles at INSEAD, working across France, Singapore, and the United States, as well as at London Business School in the UK. Throughout his career, his work has spanned executive education, marketing, business development, sales, digital strategy, and customer experience. He is particularly interested in using technology, data, and new approaches to enhance the participant experience and create more effective learning environments.

Julien holds a BBA in International Business from HAMK University and a Master’s in Marketing, Communication, and Sales Strategies from INSEEC Business School.

Originally from the Bordeaux region of France, Julien has spent most of his adult life living internationally and has long been drawn to different cultures, languages, and travel. He has visited more than 45 countries, studied Japanese, and enjoys running.
