Linh Vu

Linh Vu is a Lazear-Liang Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her research is at the intersection of psychology and economics, focusing on individual decision making in strategic settings. Specifically, Linh studies (i) willful ignorance — when people avoid relevant information about the negative consequences of their action and (ii) reluctant altruism — when people reluctantly acquiesce to others’ demands even when such compliance may not reflect the person’s true preference. Linh received her PhD from the Center for Research in Experimental Economics and political Decision making (CREED) at University of Amsterdam.
