Bio
James Paron is an assistant professor of Finance at Stanford GSB. Before joining Stanford, he was at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a PhD in Finance and a BS in Economics. His research is in asset pricing, macroeconomics, and household finance, with a focus on how firm and household heterogeneity shape the macroeconomy. His recent work has studied long-run structural change in asset prices, economic growth, and wealth inequality.
