Bio

Jonathan Coslet retired as a Senior Partner with TPG in 2025 after a 32-year tenure, having started in 1993 as TPG’s first investment professional. During his tenure, TPG invested approximately $150 billion in over 800 private equity transactions. He served as Vice Chairman from 2021 to 2025, was the Chief Investment Officer from 2008 to 2020, and Managing Partner of TPG Capital from 2000 to 2015. From 1993 to 2007, he led TPG’s efforts in the healthcare and consumer sectors.

He currently serves on the boards of Crunch Fitness, LifeTime, and Nextracker. Throughout his career at TPG, he has served on the boards of various companies, including TPG Inc., Banco Alianza, Biomet, Burger King, and Neiman Marcus.

In 2018, Jonathan founded his family office, C&S Capital, focusing on direct investments in healthcare, consumer services, business services, software, and real estate.

Before joining TPG, Jonathan worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Drexel Burnham Lambert, specializing in leveraged acquisitions.

Jonathan earned his B.S. in Economics and Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987, where he was Valedictorian. He later received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991, recognized as a Baker Scholar and Loeb Scholar.

He currently serves on the boards of Stanford Children’s Hospital (Chairman), Stanford Health Care, and the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, and is a member of the Eastside Prep Finance & Investments Committee. He previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Menlo School and on advisory boards for Harvard Business School and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Jonathan lives in Woodside, California, with his wife, Dr. Jeanne Rosner, and has three adult children—Joey, Jake, and Jamie—who all reside in California.
