Bio

Adam Rosenberg is an applied economist specializing in industrial organization and public economics. Prior to beginning at Stanford GSB in 2026, he received his BA from Middlebury College in 2016, his PhD from Stanford University in 2025, and he spent a year as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University.

Research Statement

Adam Rosenberg studies markets where private transactions affect third parties, with an emphasis on the design of efficient public policy. His primary application is the U.S. firearms industry, where he combines economic theory, institutional knowledge, and statistical methods with data from administrative and industry sources to study consumer and firm behavior, market design, and injury prevention.
