Şebnem Türe is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford Graduate School of Business, working with Professor Brian Lowery. Her research examines how macro-level disruptions, such as political upheaval and economic crisis, shape the self and meaning-making at the micro level. Her broader goal is to gain a richer understanding of how selves, organizations, and societies change and co-construct one another in times of crisis. Şebnem received her PhD in Psychology (Personality, Development, and Health) from Northwestern University, where her work centered on narrative identity. Outside her research, Şebnem is passionate about media, with experience as a radio host and a writer for local newspapers.
