The Files FPP allows authors to upload files to the public website for user download.
This element is used to display links to one or more document files. Files can include pdf, doc, docx, xlsx, xls, ppt, pptx, txt, odf, ods, odp, zip. Access to the files can be public (available to anyone) or private (only available to alumni or the Stanford community). Private files are identified with a “lock” icon. Files must be less than 256 MB. Required fields: style, private settings (if access restricted).
Files can be displayed in two styles. The unstyled display makes files look like in-page content. The container display sets the file links within a container. We recommend that only the container style be use in the sidebar.
Note: We recommend always using the container style in the right sidebar.
