Loretta brings to her roles 25 years of experience in convening diverse stakeholders to advance social change in higher education, philanthropy, the nonprofit sector, and impact investing. As an influential leader, creative program designer, and longtime Bay Area changemaker, Loretta builds opportunities to foster real-world social and environmental impact. She leads and oversees development, implementation, and evaluation of programs for the lab to generate and share knowledge about innovative solutions and best practices methodologies at organizations.
Previously, Loretta spent two years creating the GSB’s first social impact research lab, the Golub Capital Social Impact Lab and seven years at Stanford GSB’s Center for Social Innovation designing and managing programs to engage students and alumni in the fields of impact funding, responsible business, social ventures, nonprofit, and/or government, including creating the Stanford GSB Impact Fund. Loretta also spent four years as a grantmaking and program-related investment program officer at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and 11 years as the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Peninsula. The breadth of her knowledge and experience spans across sectors and is complemented by board service in the fields of housing, education, renewable energy, and nonprofit leadership development.
