About the Sustainability Research Conference Series

The Stanford Initiative on Business and Environmental Sustainability Research Conference Series is hosted by Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability.

The purpose of the conference is to spark new conversations and ideas around Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and strengthen the growing community of of EJ scholars and students at Stanford and beyond. The program will include sessions on Ecosystem Impacts on Ecosystems and IPs; Economics issues in IP communities; Partnerships Academia-IPs; the Importance of Traditional Indigenous Knowledge to Address Global Change Problems, as well as an opening ceremony performed by members of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe.
