Stanford GSB Graduation Ceremony

Frost Amphitheater is an outdoor venue with little to no shade available during the celebration. It is open seating (folding chairs on grass) for all guests.

Guests should go directly to Frost Amphitheater, where doors will open at 4:00 pm — please arrive no later than 4:45 pm to be seated before the ceremony begins.

Immediately following the ceremony, guests may walk with their graduates to Town Square for a strawberry and champagne reception.

Attendance, RSVP, and Tickets

Ticketing and/or advance registration are not required for either ceremony. There are no restrictions on the number of guests who can attend.

Clear Bag Policy and Security Screening

Please Note: Public Safety will enforce a clear bag policy at Frost Amphitheater and Stanford Stadium. Electronic screening equipment (metal detectors) will be used at all venue entry gates for both ceremonies. There will not be a bag check station available at Frost Amphitheater for items prohibited at entry, and prohibited personal items must be brought back to your vehicle.

Commencement is a time of celebration and accomplishment for our graduates. To honor the spirit and significance of this occasion, interruption of speakers or audience disruptions are not permitted. To maintain a safe and respectful event, anyone who engages in the disruption of this event will be issued a warning, and if the warning is not respected, they will be asked to leave.
