About the Sustainability Research Conference Series

The Stanford Initiative on Business and Environmental Sustainability Research Conference Series is hosted by Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability.

This conference seeks to bring together innovative scholars and practitioners who are working on creating a sustainable world economy through entrepreneurship — broadly defined to include social as well as commercial entrepreneurship. Scholars are invited to submit research papers, and practitioners are invited to submit a description of their efforts. We encourage submissions from anywhere in the world, and from all sectors of human activity, including the public sector, non-governmental organizations, and not-for-profit organizations, as well as profit-seeking startups.
