In 2026, the Grousbeck-Holloway Center for Entrepreneurial Studies marks its 30th anniversary, celebrating three decades of advancing entrepreneurial thinking and practice at Stanford GSB. While entrepreneurial activity has long been embedded in the GSB’s history, the founding of the Center in 1996 created a dedicated home to deepen, expand, and accelerate that work.
Since then, entrepreneurship education at the GSB has grown across classroom and experiential learning, research, and engagement with the global entrepreneurial ecosystem, supporting founders at every stage of their journeys.
Along the way, GSB students and alumni have launched companies, acquired and scaled businesses, and applied entrepreneurial thinking across industries, creating impact in many forms around the world. The Center extends a long-standing tradition of entrepreneurship at Stanford, shaped by generations of faculty, founders, and community leaders.
