Entrepreneurial Summer Internship Program

Christopher West worked as Chief of Staff at APA Medical Equipment, a durable medical equipment distributor that was recently acquired by two search fund entrepreneurs. "My work was quite varied, including leading development of a comprehensive M&A strategy, go-to-market plans for a new product category, and operational improvements. I had an up-close view of what it is like to assume leadership within and grow a smaller company."

Kanchan interned at the Female Longevity Institute, a concierge health startup focused on women’s longevity, blending clinical care, digital tools, and personalized Healthy Aging Plans. Working with Founder & CEO Lynn Jurich, a GSB alumni, Kanchan contributed to a mix of projects on strategy, operations, and member experience. Kanchan was interested in a career shift to a new industry: “Women’s health was a new space for me and I wanted to learn if I could build a career in the space. The GSB’s Longevity course gave me a valuable perspective on how the science, business, and consumer sides of longevity fit together, which connected directly to the work I was doing at FLI.”

Jessica Wang interned at Beli, one of the fastest-growing social media apps with over 100 million consumer rankings on where they eat. Jessica was a Product Management intern reporting directly to the co-founder and CEO. Her primary responsibility was leading Beli's product-led growth strategy. However, as she shared, "Working at a tiny startup also meant wearing many hats. I also used my engineering background and business skills to expand international coverage. The ESIP role was a great experience to the pace and excitement of an early-stage startup and to test whether a generalist role is right for me."
