Clubs
Students at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the School of Engineering take advantage of being located at the heart of Silicon Valley and surrounded by successful entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. A large number of student activities focus on broadening exposure to the entrepreneurship community and sharing ideas.
The following GSB student clubs operate independently of, but in close coordination with, the Center:
- Entrepreneur Club
The Entrepreneur Club provides exposure to mentorship and networking opportunities with outside business owners and builds relationships between the GSB and the entrepreneurial community in Silicon Valley. - High Tech Club
The mission of the High Tech Club is to provide opportunities for members to share knowledge in technology fundamentals and trends, to gain access to employment resources, and to network with technology leaders. - Energy Club
The Energy Club brings together students, faculty, and guests to explore issues impacting oil and gas, wind energy, solar energy, fuel cells and power, as well as energy security and the environment. - Venture Capital Club
The Venture Capital Club sponsors a variety of events with venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, including small group dinners, speaker presentations, workshops, and other social events. Club members range from those with previous experience to those who are exploring the venture industry for the first time. - Private Equity Club
The club is devoted to fostering awareness of and interest in the private investment industry. Club activities focus on middle-stage growth equity and late-stage LBO investments.
