Bio
Jonathan D. Levin, President of Stanford University and Bing Presidential Professor, served as the tenth dean of Stanford Graduate School of Business from September 2016 to August 2024. During his tenure as dean, Stanford GSB’s faculty and educational programs prospered, and the school expanded its efforts in key areas, including technology and sustainability. Levin is widely recognized for his scholarship in microeconomics and industrial organization. He received the John Bates Clark Medal as the outstanding American economist under the age of 40. He has served as a member of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
