Stanford University, including Stanford Business School, operates on the quarter system. Three quarters—autumn, winter, and spring—comprise the regular academic year. The quarter is 11 weeks long. Courses in the MBA, Sloan, and PhD programs are not offered during the summer.

Visit the Stanford Graduate School of Business in person or join us virtually through our online resources. The School is part of the Stanford University 8,000-acre campus, located between San Francisco and San Jose, Calif., in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Our Buildings
The Business School is composed of three academic buildings located across the street from Stanford’s historic main quad and includes Jackson Library.
The Schwab Residential Center is home to many MBA students and to participants in executive education programs.
Tours of the Stanford Campus are available through the Memorial Auditorium Visitor Center window (adjacent to the Business School across from Hoover Tower) open 9-5 seven days a week.
