2011 Entrepreneruship Conference

• The 2011 Entrepreneurship Conference was held Wednesday, March 2. At this year's event, we hosted two keynote speakers: John Paul DeJoria, Founder of John Paul Mitchell Systems and The Patron Spirits Company (click for summary and video), and Joe Kennedy, CEO of Pandora Radio (video). At the Conference, an exciting agenda of panels and speakers covered topics such as The Personalized Web, Trends in Social Commerce, Gaming for the Greater Good, The Democratization of Entrepreneurship, Fostering Innovation, The VC-Entrepreneur Lifecyle and Building a Distinct Company Cuture (videos of sessions). In addtion, two interactive workshops covered "Design + Entrepreneurship: An Introduction to Design Thinking" and "Rapid Protyping."

2010 Entrepreneruship Conference

• The 2010 Entrepreneurship Conference was held Friday, February 26. The keynote speaker was Isadore Sharp, Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts (click for summary and video). Break-out sessions covered ed topics such as What Business School Doesn't Teach About Entrepreneurship, Angel Investors, Idea Evaluation, Start-Up Compensation & Hiring, Opportunities in the Mobile Industry, Using Social Media as a Marketing Tool, Top Mistakes Made by Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurship.
