Public Management Program Certificates
Since its founding in 1971 by former dean Arjay Miller the Public Management Program (PMP) has prepared business leaders to apply management principles to social and environmental concerns. The Certificate in Public Management is an academic option within the MBA and Sloan programs. Students wishing to earn a PMP Certificate must complete a minimum of 16 PMP elective course units. Within the 16 minimum units students may specialize in one of three areas — government, nonprofit management and socially responsible business — and must take a minimum of eight units from the qualifying courses in their preferred area of specialization.
