Your gift enables the school to cultivate a community working to solve the world's toughest social and environmental problems. The GSB supports research, programs, and initiatives that help to develop more effective, efficient, and sustainable solutions to the world's most pressing problems.
Our activities and research share transformative ideas with a global community by supporting:
- Faculty—Teaching and research on topics related to social problems and solutions by more than 40 faculty affiliates.
- Courses—Teaching of public policy, nonprofit management, social and environmental entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, and philanthropy concepts through more than 25 courses each year.
- Case Studies—Development of approximately 10 social innovation-related cases annually.
- Service Learning Initiative—A travel and service experience for MBA students to explore social and environmental issues in depth, connect with leaders around the world, and build their own commitment to service.
- Stanford Management Internship Fund—GSB students work as interns in social purpose organizations around the world.
- Speakers Series and Conferences—Leaders come together to learn concrete, innovative ideas for shaping and growing organizations and industries through events such as the Nonprofit Management Institute and the Responsible Supply Chain Conference.
- Board Fellows—Six-month apprenticeships for students on nonprofit boards.
- The Alumni Consulting Team—Pro bono management consulting services to the nonprofit community through a network of alumni volunteers.
