Board of Directors

Stanford Graduate School of Business Alumni Association Mission

To support Stanford GSB in developing innovative principles, and insightful leaders who change the world, the Stanford GSB Alumni Association is dedicated to meaningfully advising alumni relations on how to engage and serve our alumni around the world and throughout their lives.

The Board of Directors

The board of directors, led by the executive committee, consists of a diverse group of alumni directors who help guide the school to assure that we are providing our community with impactful and meaningful ways to engage with the school and each other.

Joining the Board

Annually in spring, new members of the board are nominated and selected to serve for a three-year term which begins on September 1. The nominations committee seeks alumni who are committed to advising alumni relations on how to create, expand, and maintain programming that is meaningful for alumni at all stages of life and/or career.

Time Commitment

The board meets three times per year for two days. Meetings may rotate between in-person and virtual. Board members are expected to attend on-campus meetings in person. Board members may also be asked to work on sub-committees or on timely projects in between board meetings. The time commitment outside of meetings for non-executive committee members is approximately one to five hours per month.
