Stefanos A. Zenios

Faculty Leader, Program in Healthcare Innovation

Professor Zenios is the faculty leader for the GSB’s Program in Healthcare Innovation. His research is concerned with how health care delivery systems use technology to prolong life and improve its quality for patients with complex and expensive medical needs. He is especially interested in the impact the decisions of providers and payers have on the innovators. A native of Cyprus, Professor Zenios received a BA and MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University, England, and a PhD in Operations Research from MIT. (More)

Lyn Denend 
Director, Program in Healthcare Innovation

Lyn Denend recently joined PHI as its staff director. Previously, she worked as a research associate at the GSB, where she authored case studies in the area of healthcare. She is also the principal writer of the Biodesign textbook, which she developed in collaboration with Professor Zenios and a team of others. Prior to coming to the GSB, Lyn was a Senior Manager in Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s management consultant practice. She has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BA in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
