In this moderated discussion, McMorrow will offer an overview of Cisco’s ongoing supply chain transformation and share how the company is leveraging AI across its operations—highlighting key use cases and lessons learned along the way. He will also discuss the evolution of Generative AI applications at Cisco and provide his perspective on their current and future role in supply chain operations. The event will be moderated by Professor Haim Mendelson, faculty director of the Value Chain Innovation Initiative.

More About the Speaker
Joe McMorrow is the Vice President of Supply Chain Transformation at Cisco. Since joining Cisco in 2008, McMorrow has led many large-scale transformation efforts and has held various supply chain leadership roles—including Component Operations, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Transformation.
In his current role, McMorrow leads a global team focused on driving supply chain strategy and execution to ensure a secure, adaptable, and sustainable supply chain. The Supply Chain Transformation organization is central to Cisco’s global supply chain operations, overseeing Strategy, Portfolio & Program Management, Data & AI, Security & Risk, Sustainability & Regulatory, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Technology & Quality Systems.
His professional journey began in manufacturing at the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, working as a manufacturing industrial engineer. Following Boeing, McMorrow joined Intel Corporation as a manufacturing systems engineer before moving into engineering management.
McMorrow holds a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.
