The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is housed in the Louis W. Foster Resource Center on the 3rd Floor of the South Building at the Graduate School of Business. For driving directions to the Center, go to the Contact Us page. The Center is open 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Where can I find research papers written by GSB faculty?
Entrepreneurial research papers written by GSB faculty are available in the Center. If there is a specific paper written by a specific faculty member you cannot locate within the Center, you can search the GSB public research papers database at gsbapps.stanford.edu/research papers/, or request a copy by email to research_papers@gsb.stanford.edu.
Are GSB cases available?
Cases are available for purchase for a nominal charge. To search the GSB public case database please go to www.gsb.stanford.edu/research/cases/. To order cases, email cases_requests@gsb.stanford.edu.
What types of books are available at the Center?
A small library of books geared towards entrepreneurship, venture capital, leadership, and industry specific pursuits is housed at CES, as well as current periodicals such as the Inc., Forbes, The Silcicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, and the Wall Street Journal. Current Stanford students and GSB faculty, staff, and alumni may check out books for two weeks.
Are there any other brochures or articles available?

Can I watch videos of past events at the Center?
There is a TV and VCR available in the Center for viewing videos of past events, panels, and conferences. Contact the CES at 650-723-0910 to make arrangements. A list of videos from past events, programs, or conferences is in the Events section.
How can I find out about Stanford's role in the development of Silicon Valley?
This Web site has a brief description of the relationship between the University and Silicon Valley. For more in-depth information, Annalee Saxenian's book, Regional Advantage, is a great source, and the Santa Clara Valley Historical Society also offers excellent material on this subject.
