This case involves issues faced by a female entrepreneur who sold the company she founded to a much larger personal-computer and advanced-workstation company, and who became president of the acquiring company’s software division with aspirations of one day becoming CEO of acquiring company. Issues include promotion and hiring of women; differences in communication styles and corporate cultures; sexual harassment; and family leave policies. She must prepare for Monday 8:00 A.M. meeting with the CEO of the acquiring company.
