Stanford Leadership Institute in the Academic Experience

Understanding the dynamic forces shaping our world is a critical skill for today’s leaders. That’s why we work to infuse deeper contextual awareness into management education for Stanford students and executives.

Informed by the institute’s research, we develop programs, curricula, and experiences that help leaders be more aware and agile.

Promoting Civil Discourse in the Classroom and Beyond

Each year, we survey incoming MBA students to better understand the range of viewpoints represented within each class, on topics such as workplace dynamics and the roles of corporations and government.

We believe effective leaders are strengthened by engaging with many different perspectives, a practice that encourages debate, enhances decision-making, fuels innovation, and builds trust.
