International Loan Forgiveness

The GSB International Loan Forgiveness Program is part of the school's broader goal to have greater international impact and to increase our community's access to global opportunities.

The objective of the GSB International Loan Forgiveness Program is to encourage non-US citizen MBAs to work in organizations that are located in developing countries by reducing the financial impact of their GSB educational debt. The program accomplishes this goal by paying a portion of the graduates' GSB loan obligations while they are employed in a developing country. During this multi-year pilot phase, GSB graduates from the MBA classes of 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 who are non-US citizens may apply while they are still in a loan repayment status.

Selected applicants may be awarded up to $7,500 each year. Currently, recipients can only receive funds for a cumulative total of three years post-graduation.
