On-Campus Events
While we encourage you to visit Stanford GSB and get to know our program better, a campus visit is neither required nor expected.
Out of fairness to all applicants, we do not give preferential treatment in the admission process to those who have visited the GSB.
On-Campus Information Sessions
Information sessions take place on Mondays and Fridays, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. (except on holidays and during staff & departmental meetings). At these sessions, an MBA Admissions Office representative provides a detailed overview of the MBA Program's distinctive features and our admission process. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions of the MBA Admissions Office representative.
During the academic year, students may also be in attendance at these presentations to share their experiences and answer your questions.
- Information sessions conclude by 12:10 p.m. to accommodate those interested in taking the Knight Management Center tours. Tours depart from the Bass Center promptly at 12:15 p.m (see below).
- Please check our registration system for event availability.
- Registration is required.
Class Visit Program
Due to space constraints, we ask that you participate in the Class Visit Program only if you are seriously considering applying to the Stanford MBA Program.
If you are primarily interested in general information about the Stanford MBA Program, we first recommend our On-Campus Information Sessions.
Please note that class visit spaces fill quickly and well in advance.
- An Admission Coordinator will meet you 30 minutes before the start of the class, escort you to the classroom and answer any questions that you may have about the GSB academic experience.
- When reserving your class visit, we recommend that you make reservations a few weeks in advance.
- Due to classroom space constraints, we cannot accommodate individual requests for specific classes.
- Due to high demand, we can offer you only one class visit per quarter.
- Each class is scheduled to run for one hour and forty-five minutes in duration.
- You are required to stay for the full duration of the class.
- We ask that you refrain from participating in class and attend only as a silent observer.
- Class visits are not offered on holidays and during periods when classes are not in session.
- Please check our registration system for event availability.
- Registration is required.
Meet a Student
This half-hour group conversation with a current MBA student is a great opportunity for you to hear first-hand about the GSB experience.
- This event is offered on most Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. when classes are in session.
- Registration is not required. Meet at the Bass Center.
Knight Management Center Tours
We offer tours of the Stanford GSB's Knight Management Center when classes are in session.
- Tours are offered on most Mondays and Fridays at 12:15 p.m. Lasting about 30 minutes, tours are led by current MBA students and are a great way to learn more about Knight.
- Registration is not required. Tours leave from the Bass Center.
Stanford University Campus Tours
Campus tours are led by Stanford undergraduate students familiar with the University's history and student life. These tours are intended for visitors from all of the University's academic departments.
- The Stanford University Office of Visitor Information Services offers general campus tours twice daily at 11:00 AM and 3:15 p.m., seven days a week, leaving from the Visitor Center located 295 Galvez Street at Campus Drive.
- Registration is not required.

The Bass Center at the Stanford GSB Knight Management Center houses the library, classrooms, dozens of study rooms, and the General Atlantic Great Room on the fourth floor.
