On-Campus Events

While we encourage you to visit the Stanford GSB and get to know our program better, a campus visit is neither required nor expected.

Out of fairness to all applicants, we do not give preferential treatment in the admission process to those who have visited the GSB.

On-Campus Information Sessions

During the 75-minute program, an MBA Admissions Office representative provides a detailed overview of the MBA Program's distinctive features and our admission process.

At the presentation, you can ask questions of the MBA Admissions Office representative.

During the academic year, students may also be in attendance at these presentations to share their experiences and answer your questions.

  • Information sessions are offered Mondays and Fridays (except on holidays and during staff & departmental meetings).
  • Please check our registration system for event availability.
  • Registration is required.

Class Visit Program

Due to space constraints, we ask that you participate in the Class Visit Program only if you are seriously considering applying to the Stanford MBA Program.

If you are primarily interested in general information about the Stanford MBA Program, we first recommend our On-Campus Information Sessions.

Please note that class visit spaces fill quickly and well in advance.

  • An Admission Coordinator will meet you 15 minutes before the start of the class, escort you to the classroom and answer any questions that you may have about the GSB academic experience.
  • When reserving your class visit, we recommend that you make reservations a few weeks in advance.
  • Due to classroom space constraints, we cannot accommodate individual requests for specific classes.
  • Due to high demand, we can offer you only one class visit per quarter.
  • Each class is scheduled to run for one hour and forty-five minutes in duration.
  • You are required to stay for the full duration of the class.
  • We ask that you refrain from participating in class and attend only as a silent observer.
  • Spring quarter class visits begin on 13 April 2012. Class visits are not offered on holidays and during periods when classes are not in session.
  • Please check our registration system for event availability.
  • Registration is required.

Knight Management Center Tours

We offer tours of the Stanford GSB's Knight Management Center when classes are in session.

  • Tours are offered on most Mondays and Fridays at 3:15 PM. Lasting about 45 minutes, tours are led by current MBA students and are a great way to learn more about Knight.
  • Please check our registration system for event availability.
  • Registration is required.

Stanford University Campus Tours

Campus tours are led by Stanford undergraduate students familiar with the University's history and student life. These tours are intended for visitors from all of the University's academic departments.
