The Stanford GSB Library building is closed. However, remote access to e-resources, virtual research consultations, and limited access to physical material are available. See Research Restart – Current Status of Library Services. Refer to the university’s research recovery plan for additional information.
A wide range of library services are available to all Stanford GSB and Stanford University students. They can get research help and guidance, take database workshops, borrow learning materials, and more.
Circulating material in the library can be checked out at the i-Desk or at the self-service machines. All borrowed material is subject to recall after two weeks.
We have several types of equipment available to the Stanford GSB community for checkout from the Library i-Desk. The equipment includes phone and laptop chargers, headphones, various cables, projectors and an audio recorder. Selected games are also available. Phone chargers can be checked out for two hours at a time. All other equipment and games can be checked out for 24 hour periods.
Look up reserve material for current Stanford GSB courses. Electronic access to selected reserve material is available.
We offer a regular program to members of the Stanford community on how to conduct business research and use databases. Contact us for assistance with:
- MBA job searching
- Company and industry market research
- Financial markets data
Due to Santa Clara County’s shelter-in-place order, access to physical materials through interlibrary borrowing is currently unavailable. We are only accepting requests for articles, book chapters, or material if available online.
Can’t find the book or journal you need on campus? The library provides an interlibrary borrowing service to support the learning and research of Stanford GSB students. Submit a request and you will be notified by email when your material is available. (Other Stanford students should contact Green Library for interlibrary services.)
- Some items are delivered electronically within a day; other items can take several weeks to arrive by mail.
- Books will be held for pickup at the i-Desk.
- Electronic copies of articles will be available on the server for you to pick up via your account.
You may renew borrowed items on or before the due date in the request system. One renewal period of two weeks is generally possible.
Be sure to check the library catalog before submitting a request. If you need assistance locating materials, ask the library staff at the i-Desk.
