Course Reserves

Course Reserves are materials instructors set aside for a Stanford GSB course.

Borrow Course Reserves

Print Materials
  • Pick up from the i-Desk
  • Items check out for 2 hours so everyone in the class has a chance to use them.
  • Check SearchWorks for older editions which may available for a longer checkout period.
  • Access online
  • We recommend reading the eBooks online rather than downloading them. Close the tab when you’re finished reading to ensure your classmates have access to the book.

Place Items on Reserve

Faculty and Faculty Assistants: Place items on reserve for your courses.

Items that can be placed on reserve include:

  • Physical books — We will try to find online options when possible.
  • eBooks — Submit requests for eBooks so we can make sure there are enough copies and simultaneous users.
  • Your personal copies of material — Send them to the library with your name and course number. They will be returned to you at the end of the quarter.

Articles and book chapters — Link to our online articles and book chapters in Canvas. Use persistent links so they are accessible on and off-campus throughout the quarter. If we don’t have online access, submit a Document Delivery request and we’ll try to provide a PDF copy, complying with copyright.
