Seyeon Kim
Hi, I am Seyeon, Ph.D. Candidate in Macro Organizational Behavior at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
My research is driven by questions at the intersection of entrepreneurship and labor markets. Startups are celebrated for their contributions to economic growth, yet most startups face steep challenges due to limited resources and uncertain futures. My dissertation takes this dual reality seriously and aims to advance our understanding of why, when, and how these challenges arise – both across the startup hiring pipeline, from attraction to recruitment, and in the career trajectories of individuals with entrepreneurial experience.
I am on the 2025–26 academic job market.
