Today we launch Insights by Stanford Business, the new digital home for research, stories, and ideas from Stanford Graduate School of Business. This redesign is designed with you, the reader, in mind.

Here are a few highlights of what you will find on the new site:

A Variety of Ways to Engage and Share

People learn in different ways. The new website allows us to tell stories in a far richer and more engaging way than ever before, such as through the increased use of video and audio, animated gifs, interactive features, photography, illustrations, and infographics. With every story, we include related stories, scholarly research papers, case studies, books, and educational programs if you want to dig deeper.

We also want to make it easy for you to share stories and insights with others. You’ll see social sharing buttons with every story and the ability to highlight the text you want to share via Twitter and email.

A Better Reading Experience

We’re using big type — 50% larger than on the old site — and emphasize headlines and pull quotes to help provide multiple entry points into a story and increase legibility. Plenty of white space also helps keep things easy on the eyes, and because 36% of our readers (and growing) are now looking at our stories on a mobile device of one kind or another, our site is now fully responsive and mobile friendly. Put a different way, stories, images, and related links now scale automatically to the size of your screen.

A Series of Academic Topic Pages

We’ve organized our stories by topic pages, built around the academic disciplines and subject areas that are the focus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business education. Topic pages feature faculty research and a list of the latest related stories. Readers can search for stories by keyword or name for any story within Insights by Stanford Business.
