Application Process

The application process for Springboard Sessions and consulting projects differ. Review the steps below and note the deadlines in Upcoming Key Dates.

CONSULTING PROJECTS — Fall-Winter

  • Determine whether a consulting project is right for your organization
  • Review ACT’s eligibility criteria
  • Submit an Interest Form
  • Meet with with an ACT project screener to discuss your project request
  • If your screener determines there’s a mutual fit, complete an ACT application
  • With your screener refine your project need and determine potential deliverables
  • ACT staff will conduct volunteer recruitment and team matching
  • Assuming successful volunteer recruitment, project will kick-off with a transition meeting between your screener and your project team

SPRINGBOARD SESSIONS (Online) — Spring

  • Determine whether a Springboard Session is right for your organization
  • Review ACT’s eligibility criteria
  • Submit an application
  • ACT staff will follow up with applicants
  • Accepted nonprofits submit one page backgrounders on the challenge for which they seek help
  • ACT staff recruits a team of brainstormers, including a facilitator
  • Assuming successful volunteer recruitment, your Springboard Session facilitator will contact you the week prior to your scheduled session Session takes place
