Francois Le is an accomplished global executive with over 35 years of experience in senior leadership positions at startups and public companies.

A strategic thinker and a transformational leader, Francois’s career has been marked by strong business development experience and a demonstrated hands-on ability to implement diverse global go-to-market strategies that result in fast revenue growth. In addition, Francois brings a wealth of experience as a team builder and trusted leader and offers key insights into his extensive and close work within executive leadership teams through key business functions such as marketing, product development, operations, human resources, finance, and legal. 

Francois currently serves as an executive advisor and board member for a wireless engineering design company and is also the co-founder of an IoT security startup. He previously spent several years as a part-time general partner at an emerging AI-based hedge fund and earned certifications to work in the securities industry.

Prior to these roles, Francois served as a senior vice president and corporate officer at a NYSE-listed company. Throughout his career, he has held a number of vice president positions at Silicon Valley communications companies, including at startups where he actively participated in raising venture capital funding. Many of the companies he joined were successfully acquired or are now public.

Francois has a diplôme d’ingénieur (a master’s degree in engineering) from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon (INSA-Lyon) and a master of business administration degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Francois grew up in France in a mixed Asian-European cultural environment, has lived and worked in Morocco and Venezuela, and now lives in the San Francisco Peninsula area. In addition to working as a Stanford Seed consultant, he has volunteered his time with the Stanford Alumni Consulting Team. He is an avid and curious world traveler, a history buff, a soccer fan, and the proud dad of a daughter working toward her doctorate in neuroscience.
