Tenacity. Innovation. Drive. For more than 30 years, Mark has been a successful FMCG executive building premium brands and great teams. He cofounded InnovAsian Cuisine in 1999 after his employer decided to exit the U.S. (and return to Japan), terminate him, and close the business. Mark, his partner, and an angel investment group convinced them to sell the business.

Twelve years later and with 20x revenue growth, the seller returned to the U.S. to acquire a 51% stake in InnovAsian Cuisine, retaining Mark and his partner as minority shareholders and members of the board.

Mark exited the business completely in 2019, leaving the majority shareholder with a professional team and $150M in annual turnover, in order to spend more time with his wife, Susan, and their four children and one golden retriever. After a short-lived retirement, Mark joined the Seed Coaching Program in 2021 as a coach.
