His expertise encompasses technology adoption, product strategy, strategic partnerships, and general management across multiple industries.

As the technical co-founder of two pioneering music ventures, Niranjan played a pivotal role in shaping the U.S. music streaming landscape. At Listen.com, he helped create Rhapsody, the first music streaming service in the country, where he developed early-stage solutions for co-branded partnerships, license and royalty management, and secure streaming with scalable rights management. Later, at SingShot, he launched a groundbreaking karaoke-based social network that was recognized by Time magazine and the BBC as one of the top five social networks globally. After SingShot was acquired by Electronic Arts (EA), Niranjan introduced features that established online revenue streams and social gaming for The Sims and other EA titles.

At Facebook, Niranjan led strategic partnerships with major video game platforms like PlayStation and Xbox, overseeing the launch of Facebook-integrated console games. As the head of gaming within Facebook’s global vertical marketing team, he played a key role in driving brand marketing revenue growth from console game companies.

Niranjan’s leadership further extended to Verizon’s 5G SuperStadium project with the NFL, where he showcased the potential of 5G and augmented reality to create cutting-edge consumer experiences. Most recently, at Amazon Alexa, Niranjan’s team advanced key platform initiatives, including launching partner-branded assistants and pioneering early large language model-based features.

Beyond his corporate successes, Niranjan has been a strong advocate for entrepreneurs. He has supported startups as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Trinity Ventures, worked with Samsung’s investment group, and served as a limited partner in an AI-focused fund, in addition to being an active angel investor.
