Dipanjan Deb

Bio
Dipanjan “DJ” Deb is a cofounder and the CEO of Francisco Partners, a technology focused private equity fund with over $25B raised since inception. Prior to founding Francisco Partners, DJ was a principal with TPG Capital. He also worked as the director of semiconductor banking at Robertson, Stephens & Company and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
DJ currently serves on the boards of BeyondTrust, GoodRx (GDRX), Legalzoom (LZ), Plex Software, Quest Software, and SonicWall. He formerly served on the board of directors of AMI Semiconductor (AMIS), Barracuda Networks (CUDA), CBA Group, Cross Match Technologies, Corsair, Ichor Systems (ICHR), Legerity, MagnaChip, Metrologic, NPTest/Credence (CMOS), Numonyx, Sectigo, SMART Modular Technologies (SMOD), Ultra Clean Technology (UCTT), Verifone, Conexant (CNXT), Globespan (GSPN), and ON Semiconductor (ONNN).
DJ has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and has a BS in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Regents Scholar.
Dipanjan serves on Stanford GSB Advisory Council, the UC Berkeley College of Engineering Board, and the UC Berkeley MET Board. He previously served on the Stanford University Board of Trustees, and the Stanford GSB Management Council where he was the chair. He is also a member of YPO (Barbary Coast Chapter).
