
Bio
Dipanjan “DJ” Deb is the cofounder and the CEO of Francisco Partners, a technology-focused private equity fund with over $50B raised since inception. Prior to founding Francisco Partners, DJ was a principal with TPG Capital. He also worked as the director of semiconductor banking at Robertson, Stephens & Company and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
DJ currently serves on the boards of Boomi, GoodRx (GDRX), and New Relic. He formerly served on the board of directors of AMI Semiconductor (AMIS), Barracuda Networks (CUDA), BeyondTrust, CBA Group, Cross Match Technologies, Corsair, Ichor Systems (ICHR), Legalzoom (LZ), Legerity, MagnaChip, Metrologic, NPTest/Credence (CMOS), Numonyx, Plex Software, Sectigo, SMART Modular Technologies (SMOD), Sonicwall, Quest Software, Ultra Clean Technology (UCTT), Conexant (CNXT), Globespan (GSPN), and ON Semiconductor (ONNN). He also worked on numerous other investments where he helped with the original investment or the sale of the business.
DJ has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and has a BS in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Regents Scholar.
Dipanjan serves on the Stanford GSB Advisory Council, the UC Berkeley College of Engineering Board, the UC Berkeley MET Board, and the UCSF Foundation Board. He previously served on the Stanford University Board of Trustees and the Stanford GSB Management Council, where he was the chair. He was also previously a member of YPO (Barbary Coast Chapter).
