Bio
Ilana is a general partner at Peterson Ventures, a founder-first seed stage venture capital fund investing in founders reimagining massive markets across SaaS and consumer. Prior to joining Peterson Ventures, she was the founder and CEO of Weddington Way, a direct to consumer brand, which was acquired by Gap Inc. in December 2016. After selling Weddington Way to Gap Inc., she joined the executive team at Gap Inc. and was a leader in customer experience and innovation for the company. Prior to founding Weddington Way, she was a buyer for Bloomingdale’s. She is also a lecturer in entrepreneurship at Stanford GSB and has been an avid angel investor. Identified as an “Accelerator” by WSJ, “40 under 40” by SF Business Times, She approaches brand building with unwavering focus and industry-changing boldness. She has an MBA from Stanford GSB and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves on the board of directors of David’s Bridal and Via Software.
