Teaching Statement
After doing a variety of guest lectures, I am very excited to teach my first course at Stanford Graduate School of Business. I am passionate about mentoring bright young people and am truly looking forward to sharing my experiences with the students. My hope is that students will always feel I am approachable and accessible.
Bio
Pete Briger is the co-chief executive officer of Fortress Investment Group. Prior to joining Fortress in 2002, Briger spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs, where he became a partner in 1996. He serves on the board of several charitable organizations including Princeton University, the UCSF Foundation, Tipping Point Community, and the Peninsula Arts Guild. In addition, he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Briger received a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
