Craving the pastries and cakes of their childhood, two Stanford GSB alumni recreate the flavors of home in LA.

After meeting in school, Ricardo Cervantes, MBA ’03, and Alfredo Livas, MBA ’03 teamed up to build a successful bakery chain around the idea that good food brings people together. La Monarca Bakery hires locally and serves traditional food made from scratch.
