There are several daycare facilities nearby that are available to Stanford students. There are both part-time and full-time options.
Schools
There are many excellent elementary, middle, and high schools near Stanford’s campus — all part of the public Palo Alto Unified School District. These schools are free to attend and offer a world-class education for students. In addition, there are a myriad of private and parochial schools in the area that your student may apply to.

Summer Camps
Avoid hearing “I’m bored” during the summer. Stanford University and the surrounding areas host hundreds of day and overnight camps for kids of all ages. Take a peek at the Stanford resource for summer activities and camps.
After-School Activities
There are hundreds of parks, museums, and other cultural activities in Palo Alto, and the Parks and Recreation Department is a great resource for all kinds of kid-friendly events.
Tip: Daycare on Campus

Once you are admitted to the program, the MSx Admissions Office will work with you to place your children on waitlists for on-campus daycares.
Tip: Placement in Nearby Schools

If your children are of age to attend one of the public schools in Palo Alto (elementary, middle school, or high school), you will be able to submit your application once you move onto Stanford’s campus. Your child will be placed into one of the nearby schools.
