A Life Well Lived tells of a Jewish youngster growing up in Germany, the family’s last minute escape before the Holocaust to Shanghai and wartime experiences in a Ghetto under Japanese authorities; all of it followed by a Horatio Alger story in the United States. In the telling of his experiences the author also explores the rise of Hitler and reasons leading up to the Second Word War. Of his life in the United States the author tells an interesting story of his rise to a corporate presidency, his involvement in various communal affairs and charities while raising a family with a wife he adored.
