Chris Loh has made a career of leading companies into new product categories, building pathways for revenue and profit growth, and developing high-performance teams. At organizations like Taikon Advisors, the software development company where Chris is a partner, he’s earned a reputation for being resourceful and collaborative. It’s that same leadership, drive, and desire for connection that Chris brings to his extensive involvement with the GSB.

As a board member and co-president of the Stanford GSB Asian Alumni Chapter, Chris is a powerful force for developing community among alumni. “Chris dedicates time, energy, and attention to engaging alumni and building a community that inspires, supports, and recognizes members at the GSB and beyond,” say Dione Chen, ’83, MBA ’90, who lead the chapter with Chris. He has also spearheaded various initiatives to get alumni and students to interact meaningfully with one another, including co-leading two Asian leadership conferences, serving as a past chair of the chapter’s events committee, and driving dozens of other events involving alumni and students.

A key part of Chris’s work with the GSB Asian Alumni Chapter has been helping launch the Aconic podcast, which features conversations with successful Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander leaders. These interviews explore the key lessons the leaders have learned and how they’ve used them to create lasting impact in their fields. Chris now serves as executive producer of the podcast, explaining that “the powerful personal stories listeners hear give moving examples of how some of today’s greatest leaders can stumble or face hardship, but learn and grow.” He hopes audiences will “develop new perspectives and helpful insights to use on their own journeys.” Through his diverse contributions, Chris embodies the GSB’s mission to drive change — not just in business but also in the lives of those around him.
