Mike most recently served as a headquarters company commander for the United States Army at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He supervised more than 200 soldiers in nine different departments who were responsible for the operation of his 700-soldier battalion, including administrative actions, physical security, logistics, and information technology. Mike previously served as a light infantry commander, leading soldiers through multiple rigorous training events and an extensive unit-transformation period. He has logged over nine years as an Airborne Ranger combat leader, with extensive experience in planning, logistics, and leadership on four continents working with foreign militaries. Mike served as an instructor at the U.S. Army Ranger School and previously was stationed in Germany and Afghanistan.
