Nayan is a seasoned professional with 10 years of experience in developing and managing large financial technology systems. Before coming to Stanford, Nayan was a vice president in the enterprise risk technology division of The Bank of New York Mellon, the oldest bank in the U.S. At BNY Mellon, his roles ranged from building cutting-edge algorithmic trading systems to creating a next-generation innovative drag-and-drop investing portal to, most recently, leading the business quality assurance function of the enterprise-wide data warehouse and advanced risk analytics program, a $100 million program mandated by the Federal Reserve. Nayan, a financial risk manager certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, has led top-performing cross-functional, globally distributed teams.
