Breakthrough Collaborative is a national leader in educational equity, committed to empowering students and developing teachers. With a unique model that provides rigorous academic enrichment to underrepresented students and pre-professional teaching experiences to college students, Breakthrough addresses opportunity gaps and fosters a diverse educator workforce. The organization works with traditionally underrepresented students to achieve post-secondary success while serving as the largest pre-professional teacher training program in the U.S., with 74% of teaching fellows pursuing careers in education. Breakthrough students are 50% more likely to enroll directly in a four-year college or university than their peers nationwide. Approximately 79% of Breakthrough Teaching Fellows are people of color, contributing to a more diverse educator workforce.
