As CEO of Nextdoor, Sarah Friar (GSB MBA ’00) was charged with leading the company’s strategic direction and financial performance. She led the company through the IPO process in late 2021, and now oversaw a company with $212 million in annual revenue and 40 million weekly active users (WAU). Heading into 2024, Friar was focused on improving Nextdoor’s monetization model, measured through an average revenue per weekly user (ARPU) metric.
