Subtitle: Supply chain managers today face a dilemma: How do you improve security without jeopardizing supply chain effectiveness? The answer may lie in the principles of the quality movement. Total quality management taught us that we can decrease defects without increasing costs - or achieve “quality without tears.” By applying these lessons, we may be able to create strategies that both prevent and mitigate security breaches while also strengthening productivity.
