Winning over the Jury Before the Trial Begins

Last week I witnessed an exceptional example of someone communicating with a group of people not predisposed to agree with her. I’d been called for jury duty in San Francisco. A court employee, Christine Carmichael, had the job of telling about 200 of us about the trial on which we might be called to serve. She impressed me with her simple, clear, and compelling approach.
