Armando Garza is chairman of Alfa and has worked there for 33 years.

Prior to his current responsibilities, he was president of Versax, which included the auto parts division of Alfa, and Sigma, the food division of Alfa, and vice president of corporate planning.

Mr. Garza is an active board member of several Mexican firms and institutions: Alfa, Banco de Mexico Regional Board, Deutsche Bank Latin American Advisory Board, Femsa, Frisa, Lamosa, Liverpool, NFL Mexico Advisory Board, and Stanford University’s Board of Trustees.

Mr. Garza has a BS in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has four children.
