Chief Executive Officer
Asurion
Kevin Taweel is the CEO of Asurion, the world’s largest provider of technology protection services, serving many of the world’s leading companies. Since its founding in 1994, Asurion has grown from a 40-person operation and now employs more than 10,000 people, serving over 200 million customers worldwide.
Prior to cofounding Asurion, Mr. Taweel served as chairman and president of Mill River Corporation, an investment company. He also worked in mergers and acquisitions for the investment bank Salomon Brothers.
Mr. Taweel is a member of the board of ResponseLink, a provider of personal emergency response systems. He holds a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he currently co-teaches a class in entrepreneurship.
Kevin resides in Atherton, California, with his wife, Debra (MBA ‘92), and their three children.
